Resignation: Round 2 resignation was allowed from 31 December to 3 January 2026. Round 3 resignation will be open from 4 to 6 January 2026.
Eligibility: Candidates must qualify NEET PG 2025, complete MBBS, and have a valid internship certificate.
NRI Candidates: Must register on the Foreign Candidate Registration Portal by 3 January 2026 for the 15% NRI quota.
Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen to take part in the counselling process. Foreign nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) may be eligible only under specific categories as per the state counselling rules.
Domicile: Applicants must be domiciled in Maharashtra or have completed their MBBS from a medical college in the state to claim state quota seats. Those who studied MBBS outside Maharashtra but belong to the state by domicile may also be considered if they meet the criteria defined by the counselling authority.

Common State Merit List (CSML): After registration, the authority publishes a merit list based on NEET PG 2025 scores, which shows candidates' ranks for the counselling process.
Online Preference Filling: Candidates need to choose their preferred courses and colleges in order of priority through the online preference form.
Selection Process by CAP: Seat allotment is carried out via the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) based on merit, preference, and seat availability.
Joining the Allotted Institute: Finally, candidates must report to the institute, complete admission formalities and confirm their seat within the given timeline.
