Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2026 will start after neet result announcement. The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Course (ACPUGMEC) is responsible for conducting Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS, BAMS, BHMS and BDS programs. The NEET UG exam will be conduct on 3 May 2026 (tentative), and NEET UG result will be declared in month of June 2026. After the declaration of NEET UG 2026 result, ACPUGMEC announced counselling rounds in four phases (including the stray round). More than 7,000 seats are available for undergraduate courses through the ACPUGMEC counselling process. MCC (Medical Counselling Committee): MCC conducts counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) medical seats.
ACPU: ACPU handles counselling for 85% state quota seats and 100% private medical college seats in Gujarat.

Students applying for the Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2026 require a set of basic eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for the counselling rounds are listed below:
In the Nationality Criteria, NRIs can apply under the NRI quota, whereas Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and Foreign Nationals are eligible only for deemed universities in Gujarat, not for State Quota MBBS seats.
Students who have completed Class 10 and 12 outside Gujarat, but hold a valid Gujarat domicile certificate, are also eligible for Gujarat NEET UG 2026.
The minimum age for the Gujarat NEET UG Counselling process is 17 years as of 31 December 2026.
Students are required to obtain a Minimum of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) marks in PCB.

Admission for courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BHMS is based on NEET UG examination. ACPUGMEC doesn’t consider GUJCET for the examination process.
For categories like SC, ST, SEBC, and EWS, seats are reserved at around 7% for SC, 15% for ST, 27% for SEBC, and 10% for EWS. In addition, 5% of seats are reserved for Persons with Disability (PwD).

Based on the NEET-UG merit, Management quota seats of Medical (MBBS), Dental (BDS), Ayurveda (BAMS), and Homoeopathy (BHMS) undergraduate courses are filled by the Admission Committee.
Following the declaration of the NEET UG 2026 result, ACPUGMEC conducts Gujarat NEET UG counselling 2026. Gujarat NEET UG Counselling registration fee is INR 1000 for all the students, which is non-refundable in nature. Along with the registration fee, candidates have to deposit the security fee of INR 10,000 for the General category, and INR 5000 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD. Unlike the registration fee, the Security fee is refundable. Candidates are required to stay vigilant during the Gujarat NEET UG Counselling process to avoid any issues.
Registration: Candidates are required to register at the official website by uploading the required documents and information, which includes NEET 2026 roll number, email, and Phone number.
Verification of documents: Visit the designated office for verification of the documents.
Preparation of Merit List: Based on the ranks of the candidates, the merit list will be prepared and it will be uploaded on the official website.
Choice filling: candidates whose names appear in the merit list will have to indicate their choices (Courses/colleges) in the order of preference.

NEET UG 2026 result will be available on the official website neet.nta.nic.in, and soon after the declaration of NEET result 2026, ACPUGMEC announces counselling dates for various Gujarat NEET UG counselling rounds. Gujarat NEET UG Counselling rounds is expected to begin from 13 August 2026 (Tentative). Publication of the Rank Card / Merit List is tentatively scheduled to be on 18 August 2026. Candidates are required to carry all the necessary documents along with them to enter the first phase of the counselling process.
Gujarat NEET UG Counselling Round 2 will begin soon. Acquiring a PIN is the first step in the counselling process for signing up. Students who have not been able to participate in the first round of counselling can participate in the second round of counselling. Candidates are required to visit the official website and pay INR 11,000 to buy the PIN. If the candidate has bought a PIN in the first round is not required to buy again in the second round of counselling. Those candidates who have not been able to participate in the first and second counselling rounds are given the last and final chance in the Gujarat NEET UG Counselling Mop-up round. The expected date for the Mop-up round is scheduled only after the first and second rounds of the NEET UG counselling. It is expected to be tentatively scheduled in mid-October 2026. Candidates are required to register on the ACPUGMEC portal, and students who have already registered on the portal are required to reconfirm for the Gujarat NEET UG Counselling Mop-up 2026.
Gujarat Vacancy Round is the final opportunity for the candidates who were earlier not able to participate in the previous counselling rounds. Gujarat NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round is scheduled to be held in November 2026 (Tentative). The reporting date for the stray vacancy round is to be held from 23 November 2026 to 25 November 2026 (Tentative).
